Planner

We are expanding our Supply Chain department in Kongsberg Maritime at Grilstad in Trondheim and searching for a new Planner to join our team.

In this role, you will be a part of the Supply Chain team working together to deliver systems and products all over the world. You will be responsible for the planning of deliveries and will cooperate with several departments globally to achieve our goals. As a Planner we believe you should be flexible, curious, ask questions, and challenge the existing to continuously improve. Service minded mentality, good communication skills and structured way of working are appreciated. In this role you should enjoy collaborating with colleagues and be able to address actions.

The Supply Chain department has a central role and is in close collaboration with stakeholders throughout our delivery chain. As a Planner, you will be part of a helpful, dedicated, open and friendly department that finds solutions together. Responsibilities

  • Follow up, update, and publish operating plans for operational meetings and lead operational meetings.
  • Create and send out change notifications and update in ERP system.
  • Ensure on time delivery through regular follow up across our supply chain.
  • Actively work together with other disciplines to ensure quality in deliverables.
  • Understand projects' needs; identify and address planning problems; develop and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments and functions, and sister companies globally.
  • Contribute to an optimized use of our ERP system and continuously seek ways of improving methods and tools of our planning.

Qualifications and experience

  • Logistics, purchasing and/or planning competence, through education and/or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in using ERP systems, preferably experience with planning in Dynamics Microsoft AX.
  • Previous experience in using and further development of digital planning tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian.
