We are currently looking for a high-performing Spare Parts Sales Engineer. In this role you will be a part of Spare Parts Team located in Kongsberg Maritime - Product Support Services, Gdynia.

 

Spare Parts Sales Engineer
Location: Gdynia, Product Support Services

Key responsibilities

 

  • Preparing spare part quotations based on customer inquiries and our technical recommendations;
  • Identifying spare parts;
  • Confirming and processing customer spare part orders;
  • Supporting customer through the whole process;
  • Co-operating with technical support, purchasing, logistics, warehouse and sales representatives;
  • Monitoring progress in achieving goals and ensuring that sales targets and KPI’s are met;
  • Collaborating with Product Center in Kristinehamn (Sweden);
  • Continuous improvement and development of the process related to the spare parts sales.

 

Key qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering or marine engineering would be preferred).
  • An understanding of the shipbuilding or engineering industry, the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Previous experience in marine industry will be considered an advantage; understanding the client’s needs, identifying solutions required by the client.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work effectively.
  • High motivation to work.
  • Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
  • Ability to exercise judgement and act on own initiative.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (comfortable using Excel and its multitude of functions).
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Structured, reliable, good in networking and with collaboration skills.
