Supplier Development Lead

We are actively seeking for a Supplier Development Lead at Kongsberg Discovery. The primary responsibility of this role is to foster the growth and prosperity of our suppliers.

In this role, we prefer that you have technical knowledge, and practical experience within machining/electronics and assemblies. Comfort with leading cross-functional teams, taking responsibility, and maintaining a structured approach is essential. The ability to find solutions, analyze risks, evaluate costs, and ensure product quality and development are crucial for success. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and qualification of selected suppliers
  • Supplier evaluation and assessment
  • Supplier improvement programs
  • Industrialization of products

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, experience can serve as a valuable substitute for formal education
  • Significant manufacturing knowledge and experience
  • Technical knowledge and experience within machining/electronics and assemblies
