Technical Planning Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen as Technical Planning Manager, reporting to DP Application manager. In this role, you will be a part of the DP Application management team, delivering technical resources to different projects and tasks in Kongsberg Maritime. You will be responsible for coordinating of resources in Dynamic Position (DP), Thruster control, K-Master, Simulation studies etc.

DP Application is a resource department within Vessel Systems which is facilitating all divisions in Kongsberg Maritime with software resources in Dynamic Position (DP), Thruster control, K-Master, Simulation studies etc. We are known for highly skilled personnel and are working in a very hectic environment.

Key accountabilities

  • Global resource and task coordination
  • Further develop and implement coordinator tools and planning methods
  • Support partners in KM project network
  • Assign project related support for and at branch offices
  • Contribute in the management team
  • Any other business assigned by manager

Qualifications and experience

  • Good general knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime products, systems and applications are preferred
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Norwegian language
  • Technical education on Bachelor or Master level is preferred.
