As a summer intern, you will join us on a seven-week programme – where you will receive close supervision from our experienced employees whilst working on challenging tasks and acquiring relevant work experience.
We offer two types of summer internships: based in a specific department or on one of our summer projects. Our summer internships are primarily intended for students undertaking degrees in science and technology, but we also offer summer internships in other departments. The internships are spread across several of our locations in Norway.
By undertaking an internship at KONGSBERG, you will also be involved in many exciting activities outside of working hours and it will give you the chance to benefit from our unique networking opportunities.
Our summer internship recruitment process
Please note that your application must be sent through our online recruiting system, before the deadline. Candidates of interest may be offered positions prior to this date. Depending on volumes and when the application is sent, this may take some time; however, our ambition is to send our offers to successful candidates as soon as we can. We also aim to inform the non-successful candidates without undue delay.
Please be advised that our internship projects open for applications from mid-August to September annually for internships the following summer. Kindly note that project offerings may slightly vary from year to year, ensuring a dynamic and enriching experience aligned with your field of interest.
